2005 Meeting & Events Industry Awards
Meetings & Events Australia, the peak body for Australia's $17 billion a year conferences and events sector honoured its top achievers at a glittering Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony at the Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast. The event coincided with the National Conference of MEA which attracted some 680 delegates to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Outstanding Contribution Award: Pieter van der Hoeven SA
Special Event Organiser: Peter Jones Special Events VIC
