Includes: personnel involved in any meeting industry related area, such as venues, suppliers, exhibitions, audio visual/staging and exhibitions, who is involved in areas other than sales & marketing and meetings/event management. Important Change: The applicant MUST be an accredited or a recognised MEA member (ie AMM, AIMM or AFMEA) in order to apply for this award. Applications from non accredited or recognised members will not be considered.

Special Event Manager of the Year

This category is open to any member or employee of a member who has demonstrated exceptional skills in the management of special events in the qualifying 12 months period by providing outstanding service to clients, and creating a high reputation for their organisation. Please note: If you work for a professional conference organiser/ meetings management company, your main role has to be the management of special events (meeting managers can not apply for this award). Important Change: The applicant MUST be a recognised MEA member (AFMEA) in order to apply for this award. Applications from non recognised members will not be considered.

Meetings Manager of the Year

This category is open to any member or employee of a member who has demonstrated exceptional skills in meetings management in the qualifying 12 months period by providing outstanding service to clients, and creating a high reputation for their organisation. Please note: If you work for a professional conference organiser/ meetings management company or a special event organiser, your main role has to be the management of meetings (special event managers can not apply for this award). Important Change: The applicant MUST be an accredited MEA member (AMM or AIMM) in order to apply for this award. Applications from non accredited members will not be considered.
