In 2002 the MEA National Council introduced MEA Hall of Fame to recognise those entrants that have been successful over a number of years. The Hall of Fame Award applies to members who win an award in the same category in three consecutive years. Members are able to reapply for the same award after the third year of being in the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame excludes the following categories:
Event & Meeting of the Year categories
Individual categories
Corporate Social Responsibility category
Education Award
Members of the Hall of Fame are encouraged to enter in other relevant categories.
The Platinum Award
The Platinum Award winner will be awarded to the 2013 National Award winner that earned the highest overall point score. A national winner from any category, other than the individual, CSR and Educational question, is eligible for the Platinum Award.
Apart from the recognition on the night as the winner of this prestigious award, MEA will provide ongoing promotion of this success through media releases, website, newsletters and all social media channels. The member will receive a special logo and the right to promote their business as the winner of the industry's highest award.
