Hall of Fame and Platinum Award

In 2002 the MEA National Council introduced MEA Hall of Fame to recognise those entrants that have been successful over a number of years. The Hall of Fame Award applies to members who win an award in the same category in three consecutive years. Members are able to reapply for the same award after the third year of being in the Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame excludes the following categories:

  • Event & Meeting of the Year categories
  • Individual categories
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award
  • Education Award

Members of the Hall of Fame are encouraged to enter in other relevant categories.

The Platinum Award

The Platinum Awards (Platinum Individual Winner and Platinum Company Winner) are presented to the two entrants who have achieved the highest point score. A national winner from any category, other than CSR and Education, is eligible for the Platinum Awards.

Apart from the recognition at the Awards presentation as the winners of these prestigious awards, MEA will provide ongoing promotion of this success through media releases, articles, website, newsletters and all social media channels. Members will receive a special logo and the right to promote their business as the recipient of a Platinum Award.
