Marketing has always been critical to event success. Many of us enjoy the creativity of marketing and are avid engagers on social media, but now more than ever, we need to hone our marketing skills to ensure our message is heard.

How can you reach your target audience and attract new clients and how do you wisely invest your budget to achieve the maximum impact? How do you cut through the online clutter to reach your audience? Join MEA in this workshop and find out. 

In this interactive workshop we invite you to:

  • Better understand marketing processes step by step
  • Develop your marketing and social media plans for selected audiences and events
  • Decide on the social media tools most likely to succeed for your events
  • Understand how to evaluate the success of marketing expenditure and efforts
  • Develop your skills and capability to market and engage online

This workshop covers creating marketing plans for selected target audiences using a range of tools, including social media, and determining appropriate tracking and evaluation methodologies to measure effectiveness.

If you have attended previous MEA PDs or webinars or sessions at Evolve, this workshop delves deeper into event marketing offering a mix of theory and practical skills. The workshop is an intensive online program with a total of 12 hours of ‘virtual face to face’ training and some offline learning over two days.

Join us and your fellow event professionals for a constructive conversation and skill enhancing workshop. The content is essential for event professionals and is aimed primarily at early career professionals.

MEA workshops are designed to bring application of knowledge to current case studies and to add in trends and current industry resources. The workshops are part of Diploma of Event Management under MEA's Registered Training Organisation, but are available for everyone to enjoy. You will not be required to undertake an assessment unless you are studying the Diploma of Event Management. All attendees receive a Certificate of Completion.
