ENTERING THE MEA AWARDS

All categories are listed on the Awards Portal. Download the Awards Criteria to view the entry template for each award. Applications can be submitted across many different categories, and applicants may enter into as many categories as they wish so long as they are eligible.

ELIGIBILITY

Both members and non-members of MEA are encouraged to apply.

You must be an Australian registered company to apply for any of the corporate award categories. You must be an Australian resident to apply for any of the individual award categories.

QUALIFICATION

The event, activity, service or operation must have occurred within the last 24 months. 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022.

All submissions are judged at State/Territory level first. Those submissions who meet a minimum benchmark of 70 points become a State/Territory Finalist. Those who do not meet minimum benchmark will be notified.

The State/Territory winner is determined by the points received in each category, for that state. The highest number of points will win that category at state level. Each category winner is announced at a State/Territory Awards Night.

The winners of each State/Territory Award category automatically go on to compete for the National Award.

The National winner of each category is determined by the highest number of points in that category. The National winners are announced and presented with trophies at the Awards Dinner which coincides with, and marks the final event of Evolve 2023, MEA’s Annual Conference, which is scheduled to be held on the Gold Coast on 8 June 2023.
