From the Chair: A quote from Donald Rumsfeld

Donald Rumsfeld once said something along the lines of (and I paraphrase) "there are things we know we know. There are things we know we don't know. There are also things we don't know we don't know.” That last bit (we don’t know what we don’t know) is vital to keep front of mind when advocating, planning our education program and supporting our members.

A big thank you to all MEA members who responded to a recent request for input into some key areas concerning how the pandemic and current lockdowns are impacting you now and into next year.  Your input is appreciated and important as we continue to advocate for our members and industry along with our fellow associations and prominent bodies, on a state level and on a federal level as part of BECA.

Don’t forget to register for the MEA Awards which will be taking place virtually on Sept 22. It’s important to recognise and celebrate the tenacity and efforts of those in our industry.
