KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Action all client enquiries within a 24 hour period

• Preparation, follow-up and conversion of event , corporate and social function proposals

• Prepare banquet event orders, action plans and relevant paperwork to effectively communicate guests needs to internal and external sources

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.

• Complete organisation of event and incentive activity/events from confirmation to post-event follow-up in order to ensure client satisfaction.

• Co-ordination and hosting of site inspection activity including follow-up

• Conduct thorough client and staff briefings as necessary

• Liaise with other Hotel Departments and within the Banquets department effectively

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

•Have a genuine and passionate attitude

• Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal

• Previous experience in an events role, preferably in a planning environment

• Previous hotel experience would be an advantage

• Must be computer literate, Delphi FDC experience preferred

• An understanding and appreciation of the importance of maintaining confidentiality at all times
