KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Complete organisation of conferences and events from confirmation to post event follow up

• Prepare event orders, action plans and other relevant documentation to effectively communicate guests needs to internal and external sources

•Conduct client briefs as required for major events and conferences

• Develop and supervise new leads

• Represent the hotel at external functions and meetings

• Liaise with other hotel departments and within the Conference and Events department effectively

• Develop close relationships with other hotels, hotel suppliers, contractors and all conference and events clients, past present and future.

• Maintenance of database of key clients and contacts

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Have a genuine and passionate attitude

• Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal

• Previous luxury/premium hotel experience would be an advantage

• Previous experience in Conference  and Events Planning is essential with major events and conferencing event planning skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Proven experience working with key internal and external stakeholders

•Must be computer literate, Delphi FDC or Salesforce experience an advantage
