About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Digital Marketing Executive to join ICC Sydney’s Communications team on a full-time, permanent basis – reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications. This position plays a critical role in supporting the marketing team and the company’s digital strategic direction.

This hands-on role is pivotal in driving digital activity across the business to build the brand locally and globally. Your ability to develop campaigns and drive results based on data-driven analysis will be your stand out strengths. Additionally you will have experience in website and community management, sharp writing skills, and a creative, analytical mind.

You will assist the marketing team with advertising, content generation, email marketing and case studies. In addition, you will contribute to creative content briefs and other marketing activities as required. As a passionate digital marketer, you will thrive in a varied and fast-paced environment. Your ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to deliver on competing deadlines will see you succeed in the role.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualified in Marketing/Communications or digital disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years in a digital marketing or performance marketing role required.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS systems (Kentico, Drupal, Sitecore, Wordpress or similar) and working knowledge of web optimisation, UX/UI design principles, A/B testing and setting up personas.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) for business and management tools (Meltwater Engage, Facebook Business Manager or similar), including content scheduling, paid campaigns and reporting on organic and paid activity.
  • EDM / Email Marketing system and content management (Campaign Monitor, Kentico EMS or similar).
  • Experience in creating a digital strategy, managing, tracking and providing actionable insights on paid social media and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook and LinkedIn Ads Manager.
  • Project management skills, including being comfortable liaising cross-functionally as a project leader, and providing advice to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Premiere Pro desirable, but not essential.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills desirable, but not essential.
  • Exposure to events, hospitality or tourism industries desirable.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Well organised and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, autonomously and cross-functionally.
