MEA Workshop: Project Management

This online workshop takes a deep dive into the essential skills for managing projects in the event space.

Join us for a two day journey that will take an event idea from concept to completion via this project management bootcamp.

As the event landscape changes, professional skills and an ability to manage multiple projects will be essential. This workshop is designed to expand your skills and confidence ready to manage the events of today and those you create for 2021 and beyond.

Many of us enjoy the creativity of events, but now more than ever, we need to hone our project management skills to ensure our great ideas become great events. In this interactive workshop we invite you to:

• Delve into conceptualising events and learn how to progress your blue sky thinking to grounded event delivery.
• Develop your event or conference formats to better engage audiences – be they on site or online.
• Hone your confidence and capability to monitor expenditure and income.

This module covers creating documentation and planning tools to measure performance against objectives and will provide a range of templates to be used for future events.

If you attended previous PDs or webinars on project management this workshop digs deeper into project management offering a mix of theory and practical skills. Join us and your fellow event professionals for a two--way conversation and skill building workshop. The content is essential for event professionals and is aimed primarily at early career professionals wanting to build on their experience.

The workshop is an intensive online program with a total 12 hours of "virtual face to face" training over two days.

ABOUT MEA WORKSHOPS 

MEA workshops are designed to bring application of knowledge to current case studies and to add in trends and current industry resources. The workshops are part of Diploma of Event Management under MEA's Registered Training Organisation, but are available for everyone to enjoy. You will not be required to undertake an assessment unless you are studying the Diploma of Event Management. All attendees receive a Certificate of Completion.
